In recent years, electric vehicles have become increasingly popular not only in Turkey but also in many countries worldwide. Vestel to produce a charging station capable of charging at 1,000 kW (1 MW)

Today, Vestel made a significant announcement for the world of electric vehicles. The company’s CEO, Ergün Güler, introduced 60 kW / 120 kW / 150 kW fast chargers and 180 kW / 240 kW / 320 kW / 400 kW / 720 kW / 1,000 kW ultra-fast charging stations.

It is well known that electric vehicles, including those produced by brands like Togg, generally charge at a maximum speed of 200 kW. Additionally, there are vehicles that charge at lower speeds, such as 50 kW. The station to be produced by Vestel seems to attract considerable attention.

Vestel’s 1,000 kW ultra-fast charging station will be able to charge all electric vehicles from Togg T10X to Tesla Model X, Y, and S, as well as other electric vehicles from BYD. However, none of them currently support this speed. But we know that in the future, supported charging speeds will increase, much like in the case of smartphones.

Vestel’s 1,000 kW (1 MW) charging station could offer shorter charging times for vehicles with large batteries, such as electric trucks and vans.
